Job Responsibilities
- Design and install HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client’s requirements in both large and small projects.
- Should have complete knowledge of Chiller installation. Chilled water pump installation and Chilled water piping line.
- Should have full knowledge of Selection and installation of FAHU, AHU, RAHU, FCU, PACKAGE UNIT, CHWP Valves, GI-PI-SS Ducting.
- Should be able to prepare Method statement and Material submittals for submission.
- Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, and work with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed to create and/or modify design parameters.
- Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.
- Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments in order to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new HVAC equipment.
- Ensure that the Inspection department approves fittings, ducts, water pipes, and other accessories before the installation begins.
- Serve as project leader to coordinate efforts of managers, engineers, drafters, and manufacturing personnel during all project phases.
- Prepare, apply, and get approval for the HVAC shop drawings, work method statement, MEP-coordination drawing, and project specification from the head engineer.
- Coordinate installation schedule with team members and other departments working on the project. · Monitor site activities and make sure all rules and regulations are followed. Making reports on daily progress made at work and ensuring it reaches the superiors.
- Designing & preparing the drawings for every project in hand and also looking after the site individually.
